Mr Whatsit plans to reveal Vecna's dark truth

The 1-minute and 5-second teaser of Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 opens with Derek (Jake Connelly) and more Hawkins kids taken control of by Mr Whatsit after kidnapping them using his demogorgons. They are being gathered in his home, the sanctuary, as he calls it, where Holly can also be seen. From the woods, Max can be seen keeping track of the house and the kids with her binoculars.

Mr Whatsit sits on a sofa while the children are on the floor, facing Mr Whatsit as he begins to tell a story. He says, "You might be wondering when your family and friends will be joining you here. The difficult truth is there is more at stake than just the lives of your loved ones. I don't wish to frighten you, but I believe you are brave enough to know the truth."

About Stranger Things Season 5, Volume 1

Stranger Things Season 5, Volume 1 (late 2025) picks up in Fall 1987 with Hawkins under military quarantine as Vecna's rifts open, the gang is trying to find him, Eleven is hiding, Max is in a coma, and the military is also looking for El.
