The film will have a theatrical premiere on August 1. It will release in theatres with Kathir and Hakim Shajahan-starrer action thriller, Meesha, and Indrans and Meenakshi Anoop's Private.

The two-minute, twelve-second movie begins with Arjun Ashokan's character boasting about spotting the notorious ghost Sumathi during one of his road journeys. But he is also portrayed as a scaredy cat who is tormented by nightmares of this ghost and the Sumathi Valavu road, which appears to be dangerous at night. Soon, a terrifying glimpse of Sumathi Valavu's story is revealed in the trailer.

Abhilash Pillai wrote the script for the horror comedy, which has been helmed by Malikappuram-fame Vishnu Sasi Shankar. Waterman Films LLP and Sree Gokulam Movies, in collaboration with Gokulam Gopalan and Murali Kunnumpurath, are producing this movie. The soundtracks and original score for the film were composed by Ranjin Raj.
