Suniel Shetty has revealed the reason people tend to call him Anna in Bollywood. He stated that Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt started the trend. Suniel spilled the beans to Shehnaaz Gill on her show.

The latest guest on Shehnaaz Gill’s show, Suniel Shetty, told her that he was shooting for Kaante in LA when a few of his staff members called him Anna. That is when Sanjay heard the same and added to it. “Agar Sanjay Dutt ke haath mai kuch lag jaata hain na, toh woh chipak jaata hai,” Suniel pointed out.

Suniel Shetty also spoke to Shehnaaz Gill about business on her show. He shared that his father encouraged him to try hotel management. Suniel went for the profession because he was unsure how long can he sustain as an actor.

While Suniel’s movies worked, the critics did not appreciate him the way he would’ve liked it. “And that’s why I never left my business. It is important to be financially secure,” the actor shared.

Suniel even went on to give Shehnaaz an advice. That was to not take up business. He told Shehnaaz that she is doing well in acting and thus, she should focus on that.

The veteran actor is currently seen in the web series, Hunter: Tootega Nahi Todega. The show has released on Amazon Mini TV.
