Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari box office collection Day 4
Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari box office collection Day 4: Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s romantic comedy film is struggling to even compete with Shashank Khaitan’s previous hit rom-coms like Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari might have opened to a moderate collection on the first day, but the romantic comedy is now witnessing a constant dip in the numbers. It earned nearly Rs 7 crore at the box office on the first Sunday. Here’s how much it collected overall in the four days since it premiered on October 2 with a tough clash with Rishab Shetty’s Kannada film, Kantara Chapter 1.

Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari failed to meet the expectations at the box office after earning only Rs 7.75 crore on its first Sunday. The Bollywood rom-com has completed four days at the box office after its festive theatrical premiere on October 2. Comparing Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with the recent Hindi releases like Jolly LLB 3 and Param Sundari, Shashank Khaitan’s romantic comedy drama film is lagging behind with a constant dip in its numbers.
On the fourth day, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari minted Rs 7.75 crore, making it an overall collection of Rs 30 crore, just like Sidharth Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari. Opening with a moderate collection, Varun Dhawan’s film was expected to do better than the rom-com Param Sundari. However, the first weekend faded the expectations as the numbers experienced a major dip. According to Sacnilk, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari opened with Rs 9.25 crore on Day 1 and has barely managed to collect just Rs 30 crore in its four-day run. If the movie continues with the slow pace, then it would be a miracle to even garner Rs 50-60 crore in the coming days.
As per the analysis by industry tracker Sacnilk, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari had an overall Hindi occupancy of 29.14% on October 5. The movie is currently experiencing a slump in the occupancy as well compared to the opening day, which was over 34%. Meanwhile, the occupancy for morning shows was 13.70%, the afternoon shows had a slight jump to 34.45%, followed by the highest occupancy in the evening shows with 41.10% occupancy. The night shows plummeted by 27.29%.
