Suriya 45 update: Indrans and Swasika join cast of RJ Balaji film

Suriya 45 is getting bigger and better. Only a few days ago, we reported that Trisha has joined the cast of Suriya and RJ Balaji’s upcoming Tamil film. Now, as per the latest updates from the makers, Indrans, who predominantly works in the Malayalam industry, and Swasika, who made an impactful presence in Lubber Pandhu, have joined the cast of Suriya 45.

Suriya 45: Indrans and Swasika join cast

Suriya who was last seen in Kanguva, will be joining hands with actor-filmmaker RJ Balaji for a film which is tentatively called Suriya 45. Trisha recently joined the film, marking her reunion with Suriya after Mounam Pesiyadhe and Aaru. The makers had also released a BTS of her joining the sets.

On Sunday, Dream Warrior Pictures which is bankrolling the project announced two new entrants to Suriya 45. Actor Indrans, who has appeared in films such as 2018 and #Home, will be joining the cast along with Swasika who was last seen in the blockbuster film Lubber Pandhu. It will be interesting to see what roles the talented actors would be playing in the film.

Suriya 45 is directed by RJ Balaji, in his first collaboration with Suriya. Trisha will be playing the female lead in the film. The production is underway, with a release date yet to be announced.

Sai Abhyankkar replaces AR Rahman

At the time of the initial announcement, AR Rahman was announced as the composer of Suriya 45. However, a week before the makers officially announced that Sai Abhyankkar, who made indie songs like Katchi Sera and Aasa Kuda, had come on board as composer.

GK Vishnu is cranking the camera for Suriya 45. As per reports, the film will feature Suriya as a lawyer, and will revolve around a temple that is located inside a court, with Trisha also playing an advocate arguing for the opposite side.
