TV producer and director Asit Kumarr Modi, the man who backs the hit TV series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is currently in the news for all the wrong reasons.

Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal, who played Roshan Daruwala Kaur Sodhi for 15 years in the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has accused Modi of sexual harassment.

While the latest in the saga is that the makers of the show plan on taking legal action against the actor, here's an interesting bit of trivia that you may not know about Modi.

Modi is also an actor, and he had a role in a film that had Shah Rukh Khan and Raveena Tandon in lead roles.

After many delays, the romantic film Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke finally released in 2004. With SRK and Raveena as the leading couple, the shoot of the film began 10 years before it was released — in 1994.

Modi played a small role in the film — that of a joker.

It is interesting to note that most of the filming of the movie, written by Anirudh Tiwari, was done in 1994, but for several reasons, the shoot could not be completed.

With no movement taking place for years, the shoot of the film was completed with the use of body doubles standing in for SRK and Raveena in 2004, since both of them refused to finish shooting for the film.

Shah Rukh and Raveena did not even dub for their parts.

Yeh Lamhe Judaai Ke also stars Navneet Nishan, Divya Desai, Mohnish Behl, and Kiran Kumar. It is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
