The makers of the upcoming romantic drama Tadap have released another trailer as the film nears its theatrical release. The film marks the Bollywood debut of Suniel Shetty's son Ahan Shetty who is paired opposite Tara Sutaria in this official remake of the Telugu film RX100.

The new trailer opens to some fight sequences of Ahan with a voice-over that describes the three qualities that a lover should possess. The trailer then chronicles the romance between Ishana (Ahan) and Ramisa (Tara). The video clip that shares the glimpses of the two and their journey, fighting all odds and obstacles on their way, looks better compared to its first official trailer, until the final scene where Ahan, soaked in blood, is seen strangling Tara. The shot was part of the first trailer too, highlighting it to be a major plot device in the film but raising eyebrows as it appears to be promoting violence against women in the name of love.

Set in Mussoorie, Ishana meets Ramisa, who returned from abroad, and they fall madly in love with each other. However, things turn out differently for the star crossed lovers. The official description further reads, "When things seem almost overwhelming in their finality, Ishana has one more draconian hurdle thrown his way. How he copes with it forms the soul of this incredible love story."

Earlier, director Luthria had said that the film is a dark love story. "Ahan Shetty and Tara Sutaria have author-backed roles. Their chemistry shines through in a story that has intense romance, action and soulful music. Tadap is an eye-opener and reflects the changing tastes of our audiences. Get ready for a thrilling ride,” he had added in his statement.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, presented and co-produced by Fox Star Studios, the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment production, Tadap, written by Rajat Arora, will be out in cinemas on December 3.
