Tamannaah Bhatia: Never seen a crime thriller series as complex as November Story

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia says that her latest show November Story, which is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, is probably the most complex and intriguing crime thriller series that she has been part of.

Talking about the show, she said, “When I first heard the narration of November Story from director Ram Subramanian, I could have never anticipated that the storyline was going to be so layered. I have never watched a crime thriller series that is so complex and intriguing at the same time and one that engages audiences in every episode like an authentic whodunit.”

The actress plays the role of an ethical hacker Anuradha, who is faced with a choice to sell her father’s novel or their house.

In the midst of that stress, she finds her father Ganesan, who is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease, right next to a corpse in their house. Ganesan is a popular crime novel writer and all evidence of the murder point to him. While Ganesan is left to fend for himself, Anuradha has some big decisions to make.

“What commences as a plain Jane murder spirals into the unleashing of a series of hair raising events interlaced with a multitude of characters and narratives that come to the fore, raising more and more questions while building mystery around the killer and motive,” she said. “November Story is an edge-of-the-seat thriller and I’m certain that it will keep the audiences entertained and engaged till the very end.”

The seven-episode show also has flashbacks that reveal more about the victim and the murder itself. Directed by Ram Subramanian, the series also stars Pasupathy, GM Kumar, Aruldass and Vivek Prasanna in pivotal roles.

November Story released on Disney+ Hotstar on May 20 and is available in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
