Siddhu Jonnalagadda is one of the most happening stars in Telugu cinema. He made heads turn with DJ Tillu and became a star hero with Tillu Square. Following the success of these films, he signed a project titled Jack with Bommarillu Bhaskar. However, the crime comedy ended up as a massive flop at the box office and is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Ever since Jack failed, Siddhu has been absent from media appearances and public events, as he got busy shooting for his new film Telusu Kada. The romantic drama was initially slated for release in June 2025 but was postponed due to the failure of Jack.

Now, the latest update is that the makers have locked the new release date for Telusu Kada—October 17, 2025—making it an early Diwali release. In a short video released by the team, the Krishna and His Leela actor revealed the date uniquely.

Telusu Kada features HIT 3 fame Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead. This marks her first pairing with Siddhu in a Telugu film, and their on-screen chemistry is being eagerly awaited. The film is also special as it marks the directorial debut of noted stylist Neeraja Kona, who has previously worked as a costume designer for numerous films and is now taking a big leap as a director.

In one of his interviews, the Guntur Talkies actor, Siddhu, revealed that the story of Telusu Kada is quite unique and will impress audiences. Following the debacle of Jack, Siddhu made several changes to the script of Telusu Kada and even re-shot a few scenes to enhance the film.
