Ahead of Tere Ishk Mein’s theatrical premiere on November 28, director Aanand L. Rai dropped a fierce trailer featuring the stellar duo of Dhanush and Kriti Sanon. When asked about love, Dhanush got speechless, and Kriti Sanon’s surprising reaction caught everyone’s eye as she compared Dhanush with the reel character of Shankar.

Dhanush on his thoughts about ‘love’

At the trailer event in Mumbai, Tere Ishq Mein team engaged in a captivating discussion about love and emotions. When someone asked Dhanush to give his opinion about love. He became speechless and also hesitated to reply. He said, “I don’t know.” Later, someone joked that Dhanush is ‘too young’ to answer, he replied, “I think it’s just another overrated emotion,” followed by lots of hooting from the crowd as it went to ‘oooooh’ reactions. Kriti Sanon, who plays Dhanush’s love interest in the movie, said that she doesn’t think his character (Shankar) agrees with him. To which Dhanush retorted that he is nothing like his reel character. “I already said (I am) nothing like Shankar,” he added.

For the unversed, Dhanush got divorced almost a year ago after his separation from Aishwarya Rajinikanth was granted on November 27.
