The Greatest of All Time is one of the highly anticipated films of 2024. The film marks the maiden collaboration between Thalapathy Vijay and Venkat Prabhu, which is one of the key factors adding to the film's pre-release hype.

Senior actor YG Mahendra, who has a cameo role in the movie, has heightened anticipation by promising that The Greatest of All Time will be as good as Vijay's 2012 blockbuster Thuppaki.

"I feel that The Greatest of All Time will be a very different movie because I have done a guest role in it. This film will be as brilliant as Thuppakki," he said in a recent interview.

He also shared his experience of working in the movie. Even though he mentioned having a small role, Venkat Prabhu has written it in a way that will captivate audiences and give fans a reason to be excited in theatres.

"I have a dialogue in the movie, and if it makes it to the final cut, the theatre will explode when I say those lines. It's connected to Vijay, and I said those words from the bottom of my heart as I have known Vijay from a very young age and have worked in many movies with his father," he added.

Anticipation grows for The Greatest of All Time

The final leg of production for The Greatest of All Time is underway in Russia. With just a few days of shooting left before entering post-production, the filmmakers are working toward a tight deadline, as the movie is set to open in cinemas worldwide on September 5, coinciding with the Ganesh Chaturthi holiday.

The filmmakers kicked off the promotions for the movie with the release of the first single from the music album, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The song titled Whistle Podu has received mixed reviews.
