Thama's first-look posters are garnering rave reviews from fans. The intense introduction has already made quite a chatter on social media ever since the makers dropped not one but 4 posters. Touted to be a horror comedy film, Aditya Sarpotdar’s Thama will expand the horror universe of Maddock Films. It includes Shraddha Kapoor’s blockbuster film Stree Stree 2, Sharvari’s Munjya, and Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya. Dinesh Vijan’s Thama is slated to release theatrically this Diwali. Ahead of its awaited premiere, the makers have dropped intriguing posters to give a glimpse into their roles. Soon, fans showered the first looks with love as they seemed to be impressed. Thama, another horror comedy in Maddock’s compelling horror universe, unveiled Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal’s character posters. Ayushmann Khurrana plays Alok, the main protagonist who is expected to save everyone from the chaotic vampire villain, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui. While the former has high hopes for everyone, Nawazuddin appears to thwart his plans with his wicked tactics as he essays the role of Yakshasan (the evil boss of darkness).
Fans gave a big thumbs up to Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s character. One fan wrote, “Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s fierce avatar—pure goosebumps.” While another wrote, “Apun ich Shaitaan hai, now.” Some fans also expressed high expectations with him and compared it to another compelling character like Raman Raghav 2.0, where Siddiqui played the main antagonist.
