Thamma Box Office Collection Day 9: Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, had a box office clash with Harshvardhan Rane's Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma has crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark in 8 days. However, on the 9th day, it has slowed down a bit.

Sacnilk reported that Thamma has collected Rs. 3.25 crore on the 9th day. It collected Rs. 5.75 crore on the 8th day so the collection has dipped a bit. So far, Thamma has minted Rs. 104.60 crore in total. Meanwhile, Thama had an overall 10.10% Hindi Occupancy on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.

Thamma, which is a part of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe, has yet to surpass another horror comedy, Stree (2018). Stree collected Rs. 129.83 crore in India, while Stree 2 (2024) earned Rs. 597.99 crore. Meanwhile, Thamma has surpassed other films in the franchise, Bhediya (2022) and Munjya (2024), which collected Rs. 68.99 crore and Rs. 101.60 crore, respectively, in India.

Plot of Thamma

The plot follows Alok (Khurrana), a journalist who falls for a mysterious girl named Tadaka (Mandanna) from a world of mythical creatures called "betaals". Alok is captured and offered to an ancient betaal, Yakshashan (Siddiqui), but Tadaka saves him, leading to a forbidden romance and a fight against an ancient evil.

Thamma is the fifth instalment of the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) after Stree Stree2, Bhediya, and Munjya. Thamma stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

After its theatrical run, Thamma will be released on Prime Video (subscribers of OTTplay Premium will also be able to watch the film with a top-up) in phases. First, it will be available for rental starting December 2, 2025, followed by a full streaming release for all subscribers on December 16, 2025.
