The real-life father-son duo Anil Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor are gearing up for their highly anticipated film Thar. Meanwhile, the makers have released the much-awaited trailer of the film that also features Fatima Sana Shaikh, Satish Kaushik and Mukti Mohan in key roles.

The latest trailer begins with Anil and Satish investigating a brutal murder case as police officers. "He was butchered. They tortured him to death," says the Welcome actor. They continue their investigation in a small town of Rajasthan named Munabao, while Harsh Varrdhan enters the montage in a rugged look searching for a girl named Panna.

The official video further features Fatima Sana and Mukti as two local Rajasthani women. Moving on, Satish can be seen interrogating the Mirzya actor, while he mentions that he owns a business of antiques.

Talking about the movie, the Ladla actor mentioned in a recent statement that he loves working with young and new talent and with Thar bringing onboard young actors and filmmakers it gives him a completely different perspective on films.

He also took the video and shared it on his official IG handle. The post reads, "Mysteries and mirages, twists and turns. In the heart of an unforgiving desert, unfolds a gritty thriller, unlike any other. #TharOnNetflix (sic)."

Meanwhile, the actor-director Satish Kaushikshared in a recent statement that he is thrilled to be a part of this project and to get the chance to work with Anil Kapoor and the rest of the cast and crew. "When I was offered this character, I thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to play the part because it is something I had not done before in my acting career," he added.
