Karan Patel has been confirmed as the first contestant for the upcoming reality show, The 50. While the TV actor has been announced as the first contestant with the ticket, it doesn't end there. A lot of mystery around the reality show still remains unsolved. Whether Farah Khan will end up hosting the show is still a mystery. Interestingly though, a few names apart from Karan are being touted as confirmed contestants for the reality show. Here's what we know so far...

Karan Patel announced as first confirmed contestant for The 50

The 50 is back in news, this time because Karan Patel of the Indian TV show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fame has been locked in as the first participant for the Indian version of The 50. The actor himself confirmed the news by posting photos along with a ticket to The 50, thus confirming his participation on the reality show.

Who else is confirmed for The 50?

Apart from Karan Patel, Archana Gautam, Bigg Boss OTT winner Divya Aggarwal and Faisal Shaikh aka Mr. Faisu have been confirmed for The 50, according to an IANS source. Their announcements are expected to be out soon.

Is Farah Khan hosting The 50?

Farah Khan is likely to host The 50. However, the promos often see her questioning who is hosting the show. Till recently, a promo saw her questioning celebrities like Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Karan Johar whether they will be hosting the season of The 50. According to the clips, neither of them are hosting the show. This is a major indication that Farah herself is hosting The 50. However, it isn't an official confirmation as of yet.

The 50, announced right after Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19's finale, is the new reality show on the block. It has been originally adapted from the French reality show, Les Cinquante.
