Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga's last franchise has collected Rs 18.52 crore in Indian market. Whereares, Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 4 made Rs 12 crore and Vivek Agnihotri's The Bengal Files made Rs 1.75 crore on their opening day at the box office in India. The horror thriller has managed to beat the two Hindi releases of the month on their home market.

The Hollywood flick also made a shattering opening in the worldwide box office as well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Conjuring: Last Rites is showing no signs of slowing down and is on the verge of topping the chart after earning $30 million on Friday, including the Thursday preview. According to many other US protals, the horror-thriller is expected to earn $65 million from nearly 3,800 theaters on its first weekend. Critics also predicted the number might peak at $70 million, making it the franchise-best debut ever.
