For fans of the espionage genre, the wait is finally over. Prime Video debuted The Family Man Season 3, a much-anticipated original series, today (subscribers of OTTplay Premium will also be able to watch the show with a top-up). A new, high-stakes chapter in the life of TASC agent Srikant Tiwari has begun with the global release of the new season, which stars Manoj Bajpayee.

Watch Manoj Bajpayee's acclaimed works, including Secrets of Sinauli, Satya, and Vedam, on OTTplay Premium—get 30+ OTTs like JioHotstar, ZEE5, and Sony LIV.

Shorter, more focused season

This current season is significantly shorter than the previous two, consisting of only seven episodes instead of the ten and nine episodes seen in Seasons 1 and 2, respectively. This installment of the spy-action thriller appears to have a more condensed and focused plot, given the lower episode count.

Produced by the illustrious combo Raj & DK under their D2R Films label, Season 3 puts Bajpayee's Srikant Tiwari in an entirely flipped situation. The seasoned spy is currently on the run, which is a change from past seasons. Rukma (Jaideep Ahlawat), Meera (Nimrat Kaur), and, unexpectedly, Tiwari's own intelligence agency, TASC, have joined the ranks of his enemies, who are no longer merely outside forces.

Srikant Tiwari's dual mission and personal turmoil

As he navigates a perilous world where loyalties are perilously hazy, Tiwari's personal and professional lives go into a tailspin due to the change in relationships. This season, Tiwari is faced with a dual mission: first, he must avenge an assassination, and second, he must uncover a plot that could plunge India into war.

The show stays true to its formula, which has become synonymous with entertaining viewers: exciting action, high-speed chases, and the characteristically clever dialogue. As the clock ticks down to save his loved ones and the country from an impending danger, the central conflict—Tiwari's battle between his hard undercover life and his delicate family life—is intensified.

Creative team behind Season 3

This season, Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth join Raj and DK at the helm. Sumit Arora provided the dialogue, and Raj, DK, and Suman Kumar wrote the screenplay.

Crucially, the beloved ensemble cast returns to their pivotal roles, including Sharib Hashmi as JK Talpade, Priyamani as Suchitra Tiwari, Ashlesha Thakur as Dhriti Tiwari, Vedant Sinha as Atharv Tiwari, Shreya Dhanwanthary as Zoya, and Gul Panag as Saloni.
