Death threats at wedding gig

In episode 9 of The Great Indian Kapil Show, singer-songwriter Vishal Dadlani reminisced about an incident during his performance at a Ludhiana wedding. He recalled that a drunken father once threatened to kill him. Later, the same man enjoyed his performance and said that they both should kill everyone.

“The bride’s father was high on alcohol, and so were many others. Suddenly, he told me, ‘I am going to kill you.’ Later, the same man came on stage and said, ‘You and me, we will kill everybody,’” Vishal shared the bizarre encounter. Vishal recently announced his departure from Indian Idol.

Shaan’s chaotic fan meet

Bollywood’s beloved singer Shaan, who is renowned for songs like Chand Sifarish, Aal Izz Well, and Deewangi Deewangi, also shared a funny fan encounter. He revealed that once a fan wrote a long poem for him but later mistakenly complimented Sonu Nigam.

“I remember someone who once recited a really long poem. And at the end, he said, “I’m your biggest fan, and you’re unmatched, Sonu Nigam!”

Later, the fan clarified that he “forgot to change the last line.’ Thus highlighting that he has been dedicating the same poetry to all artists with a slight change in the last two lines.

Vishal-Shekhar unpaid gig

Vishal Dadlani and Sheykhar Ravjiani's duo has given Bollywood some classic hits. The musical duo revealed that their first show was actually unpaid and they took it as an opportunity.

Funny comments

During the show, host Kapil Sharma presented the social media accounts of the four singers on the big screen and read some hilarious comments on the recent pictures. There were some really witty comments that turned the night into a memorable musical bonanza.
