The Great Indian Kapil Show 3 returned with another fun-packed episode and special guests for the night. Four iconic singers, Vishal Dadlani, Sheykhar Ravjiani, Shaan, and Neeti Mohan, graced Kapil Sharma’s variety talk show in the recently premiered episode. The Netflix show keeps fans intrigued with its witty conversations and humorous skits. On the special occasion of the Independence Day celebration, the Saturday episode began with some popular patriotic songs sung by the melodious singers as they entered to grace the seats. During the conversation, Shaan narrated a funny incident when one of his fans wrote a beautiful piece for him but ended up calling him Sonu Nigam.

When a fan mistook Shaan for Sonu Nigam

The Kapil Sharma-hosted variety show witnessed a musical extravaganza with four renowned B-town singers gracing the night. From sharing stage and live event backstories to witnessing Sunil Grover’s solid skit, the episode was laden with humour. During the conversation, Kapil asked Shaan to narrate some of the stage incidents with fans. Shaan reminisced about an incident when a fan wrote a lovely and long poem for him, and he was also overwhelmed with all the compliments until he heard that he took the wrong name at the end.

“I remember someone who once recited a really long poem. And at the end, he said, “I’m your biggest fan, and you’re unmatched, Sonu Nigam!”

The Chand Sifarish singer revealed that till the time he heard the name, he was all very happy for the big compliments before realizing that it wasn’t for him.

Speaking in his defense, the fan added, “I forgot to change the last line. I recited it to him once.” Thus turning it into a hilarious turn, as the fan would have been using the same poetry on all artists but changing the last two lines.

Meanwhile, Sunil Grover turned the night hilarious as he played “Fulljar Saab,” a character inspired by the legendary Gulzar Sahab. From mimicking his poetic style to wearing similar clothes, he gave a commendable performance that entertained not only the special guests of the night but also the viewers. Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda also appeared in Dada and Bappi Lahiri avatars that added comedy flavours to the night.
