Bollywood actor Anupam Kher confirmed that he has signed Dileep’s Voice of Sathyanathan by sharing a series of photos with the actors from the big-budget film, which is scripted and helmed by Raffi.

The Kashmir Files actor took to his social networking page recently to announce that the Malayalam entertainer will be his 531st film. “Happy to be working with the very talented Dileep, Jagapathi Babu, Joju George, legendary Janardanan and Veena Nandakumar. Loved the story. Jai Ho!” wrote the actor, who will be marking his comeback in Malayalam through the movie.

Anupam Kher had previously acted in Malayalam movies such as Indrajaalam, Pranayam, Kalimannu and Nayana. The actor is the latest in the long list of actors from other industries who are joining Malayalam films, which have gained national attention during the pandemic. Jackie Shroff will also be seen making his Malayalam comeback with Kunchacko Boban and Arvind Swami’s Ottu, which will hit theatres on September 8.

Voice of Sathyanathan had recently completed its Mumbai schedule. The film will now shoot in Gujarat and Kolkata, before wrapping up on September 23, as per reports. Johnny Antony, Makarand Deshpande and Siddique are also part of the cast of the film, which went on floors last year in Kerala.

The film is touted to be an entertainer and unlike Dileep and Raffi’s previous collaborations, Voice of Sathyanathan will reportedly deal with a serious subject. The filmmaker had previously told us that Dileep will be playing the role of a furniture shop owner in the movie. Joju George had completed his portions in the film during its Kerala schedule.

Meanwhile, Dileep is next set to work on another big-budget action thriller that will be directed by Arun Gopy. The film, which has Tamannaah as its lead actress, is scripted by Udaykrishna and will also be shot in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Jaipur.
