"I discovered that I had been offered the part, Venu, played by Chandu Salimkumar in the movie. Since it was specifically designed for him, I'm thrilled he was able to perform," the actor remarked. He continued by saying that he doubts he could have performed Venu better than Chandu and that his wife had agreed with him. Naslen-starrer Premalu, which is currently available on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium, catapulted Shyam Mohan to fame.

Sharaf U Dheen recently stated in an interview with OTTplay that he would enjoy working in the Lokah franchise. "This franchise will include four or five flicks, right? I would be overjoyed to be involved if the producers ever contact me. I have even pictured a specific character for myself in the franchise. However, he said, "I won't tell you now because it would definitely ruin the suspense."
