The Romantics a Netflix documentary series that everyone was looking forward to, came out on February 14 to praise and love from all over the world. It is a tribute to the history of Yash Chopra and YRF and their cultural impact on India and Indians for the past 50 years.

After 48 hours of its debut, The Romantics—a documentary—became Netflix's top-trending title, which is remarkable for a film. This demonstrated the widespread admiration for Yash Chopra and YRF. In nine nations, including Bahrain, Bangladesh, India, the Maldives, Mauritius, Pakistan, Qatar, Sri Lanka, and the United Arab Emirates, The Romantics is also among the top 10 trending shows!

After the enormous success of Indian Matchmaking and the Never Have I Ever series, Smriti Mundhra, who has been nominated for an Oscar and an Emmy, is back on Netflix. She thinks that Pathaan's huge success disproves the idea that people don't like Hindi movies or their stars and puts an end to that idea. She thinks that Bollywood is finally in a party mood again, which can be seen in the success of The Romantics. The documentary is another title that honours Hindi cinema by looking at the impact of Yash Chopra and YRF on Indian pop culture.

Smriti sensed that after a gloomy period characterised by bad faith attacks and widespread instability in the theatre industry, it's wonderful to see audiences embracing Bollywood once more. It demonstrates that people still value movies, and they are rejecting efforts like #BoycottBollywood that are cynical and polarising.

Smriti is talking about the two years when anonymous online users criticised every step of the Bollywood business without any real proof or reason.

Smriti says that The Romantics have gotten a lot of positive feedback this way. She is really happy that the series was able to bring people's attention to how movies can bring us together. As Indians, seeing movies together in a theatre is one of our most beloved rituals. Cinema is in Indians' DNA.

She continued by saying that the series demonstrates that the business has experienced downturns before and that eventually people find their way back to theatres and to one another. Just the right movie with the right actors will captivate them.
