The Royals might have been bashed as a series but one thing everybody simultaneously agreed to was that it showed a side of Ishaan Khatter we never saw before. That, of course, is his sexy side which was never tapped into before the Netflix series explored it to the fullest potential. Ishaan Khatter tried to reduce shirtless scenes in The Royals

A scene of Ishaan Khatter working out was being shot. The actor, who was being shot shirtless (not for the first time, clearly), was seen screaming out to his crew. He asked if a shirt was needed for the shot. Of course, the idea was instantly rejected. He hilariously obliged by murmuring, "Ok." Sharing the video, Ishaan wrote in the caption, "Slide two is evidence I was trying to put on a shirt as often as I could, no joke," adding, "Efforts were thwarted, of course."

The Royals’ wrap was celebrated with two grand cakes - one for Ishaan and the other for his co-star aka Sonchiriya actress Bhumi Pednekar. The scene is an important one, where a lot changes with Nora Fatehi's entry into the series. She was, however, missing in the photo.

Through the BTS scenes, Ishaan also expressed his love for Rajasthan. It is to be noted that he considers the place special because that is where the Khaali Peeli actor shot for his debut film Dhadak too.

The Royals is now out on Netflix. The series has received mixed reviews. It also stars Sakshi Tanwar, Zeenat Aman, Vihaan Samat, Dino Morea and Milind Soman among others in pivotal roles.
