Who is returning as the host and what is their current progress?

The venue welcomed host Karan Johar several days earlier, receiving praise for his orchestrator role in the inaugural season. The filmmaker-host reportedly finished filming his opening sequences and the scenes where he chooses the actors to play the parts of "Traitors" and "Innocents" already.

By returning to Suryagarh Palace, the event stays true to its unique style of secluded grandeur. The 20 contestants who came to Jaisalmer earlier this week are set against the high-stakes backdrop of the heritage home, which earned international recognition for hosting the 2023 wedding of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani. Today, March 24, is the planned start date for the beginning of the reality show.

Experienced actor Dalip Tahil joins from a new demographic as he ventures into reality TV. The group's varied professional backgrounds are enriched by Aaditya Kulshreshth (Kullu), a well-known stand-up comedian.

Even before the first season's finale aired, in June 2025, Amazon Prime Video approved a second season. In the first season, which ended on July 3, 2025, the winners were professional poker player Nikita Luther and social media star Uorfi Javed. A total of ₹70.5 lakh was won by the team after they exposed "Traitors" Harsh Gujral and Purav Jha.
