After the long wait, ultimately the D-Day came in yesterday when the much-awaited trailer of Adipurush’. The film has been making news ever since the time it got announced. There are many reasons as to why the film has been making news. Firstly, the film is touted to be one of the costliest films ever, thanks to the spectacular visual effects that the film is loaded with. The trailer of the film, which was launched yesterday at a grand event, met up with encouraging responses from the netizens.

There were many who simply could not stop lauding the grand world of Ramayana which the film’s director Om Raut created with ‘Adipurush’. Besides the film in totality, the netizens seemed to have completely smitten and besotted with the suave Saif Ali Khan’s top-of-the-order performance and even his look as ‘Lankesh’, which happens to be the name of the character that he plays in ‘Adipurush’.

Many of the netizens seemed to have fallen in love with the last bit in the trailer, which shows Saif Ali Khan’s blue eyes. Complementing this was the monologue mouthed by Saif Ali Khan which gets followed by a burst of laughter, which was good enough for many to get the goosebumps. The love for Saif Ali Khan and his character as showered by the netizens can be gauged by the innumerable wishes and compliments which got flooded in a short span of time

Besides Saif Ali Khan, ‘Adipurush’ also stars Prabhas (in the role of Raghava), Kriti Sanon (in the role of Janaki), Sunny Singh (in the role of Lakshmana), Devdatta Nage (in the role of Hanuman) and Vatsal Sheth (in the role of Indrajit). While the film has been directed by Om Raut, it is being s produced by T- Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles. The film will be released globally on June 16 this year.
