Mohanlal’s Thudarum FDFS timings

The first show of Thudarum, directed by Saudi Vellakka director Tharun Moorthy, will begin only at 10am on April 25, as per the posts shared by fans associations online. This means that Lalettan fans do not have to forsake their sleep to catch FDFS that usually begin early in the morning. This is Mohanlal’s second theatrical release within a month.

His last release was Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, which raked in impressive numbers at the box office even while battling a slew of criticism and right-wing ire. The first show of Empuraan, which is the sequel to the Mohanlal-led Lucifer was held at 6am on March 27, 2025. Mohanlal, Prithviraj and the other lead stars had attended the FDFS shows, much to the delight of cine-goers.

Thudarum arrival teaser

The makers of Thudarum had released an arrival teaser of the upcoming Malayalam film on April 12. The short glimpse, featuring Mohanlal and Shobana, is winning the internet with the tete-a-tete between the lead stars.

Another highlight of the arrival teaser is that it shows photos of Mohanlal with Kamal Haasan and Mammootty. Fans of all three stars are celebrating this frame in particular.

Interestingly, the teaser begins with a song ‘Chemparunthin’, from Jayaram’s film Mukhachitram, which was released in 1991. Fans are wondering if this is a random choice or has any significance to the film’s plot.

The Thudarum trailer, released in March, began with fun, family moments but ended on an intense note, leading to speculations that another Drishyam-like film is on the cards.

Apart from Mohanlal and Shobana, the upcoming film also stars Farhaan Faasil, Maniyanpilla Raju, Irshad Ali, and Binu Pappu, who was also a part of Operation Java.
