Sandeep Goyat’s Akhada Phir Se delves into a tale of wrestling, crime and social issues, with increased action and emotional depth. Akhada means the wrestling arena, and Season 2 again focuses on Karan's life who struggles to keep it up as a wrestler, yet defies all odds and re-enters the dangerous world inside the ring.
This intense Stage original web series revolves around a Haryanvi family where the once-strong brotherhood is shattered by a dispute over land and wealth, often influenced by the wives. Pallavi Roy’s Haryanvi movie follows a villager, Bhanwar, who ‘buys’ a bride named Saanwari only to discover she's a transgender person. What begins as an arrangement gradually evolves into a genuine and deep bond of love between Bhanwar and Saanwri. Their relationship faces severe opposition from Banwar's greedy relatives, but nothing could change his mind and leave Saanwari. Rather, their relationship becomes stronger, exploring love.
