The film, which had positive buzz ever since the release of its teaser, debuted in theatres on May 1 and has managed to collect Rs 6.6 crore at the domestic box office so far as of Sunday morning.

Tourist Family is a 2025 Tamil film which released in theatres on May 1. Starring actor-director Sasikumar in the lead role along with Simran, the film is a family drama which was already carrying much expectations for good content. The film opened to positive reviews upon its release and as managed to collect a humble Rs 6.6 crore at the domestic box office.
The family drama is directed by Abishan Jeevinth in his directorial debut. Featuring a cast including actors Mithun Jai Shankar of Aavesham fame, Kamalesh Jegan, Yogi Babu, Ramesh Thilak, Ilango Kumaravel, MS Bhaskar, Sreeja Ravi, Bagavathi Perumal, and others, Tourist Family has music by Sean Roldan.

As illegal immigrants, they try to become one among in their neighbourhood only for the police to come in searching for them.
