Toxic release: Amid occasional speculation of a release postponement, the makers of Toxic are lining up their distribution allies across the country. The film drops on March 19. 2026

In a little over a month, Rocking Star Yash’s much-awaited Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will be in theatres. The film, which was the first to book the Eid 2026 holiday window, is currently set for a clash with the Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar 2: Revenge. Ever since the Dhurandhar sequel was announced, along with its release date, there has been speculation that one of the films would move to another date. Given how successful Dhurandhar is at the box office and continues to draw crowds, despite landing on OTT also, Toxic was expected to concede the holiday slot.

It is being reported that the rights were sold for a whopping Rs 120 cr. The Kerala rights are with SSR Entertainments.
