Rocking Star Yash fans have finally got an answer about when the promotions of his next, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups will begin. It kicks off with a teaser on February 20, 2026, with the trailer expected in the first week of March. Yash will lead the promotions, with minimal but impactful media conversations, one hears. The starting point, though, is the teaser and going by the response to the brief glimpses revealed on Yash’s birthday in the year gone by and earlier in 2026, fans are hopeful of explosive visuals that will silence naysayers once and for all.

“After watching the teaser, Dhurandhar 2 will, for sure be postponed,” reckoned one, while others added that they expect more than just once scene in the teaser, with some chiming in that sequences like the most recent birthday ‘tease’ ought to be avoided to prevent further backlash. With exactly a month to go for the film to release, fans were also hopeful of a smooth censor certification process, given that the film is backed by KVN Productions, the banner that is embroiled in a conflict with the censor board over the certification of Jana Nayagan.

Toxic’s tagline being that it is a fairy tale for grown-ups, the content of the teaser will reflect the same. As the countdown to the teaser kicks off, the big question that remains is will the material be all mass or unless the troll brigade?

Toxic was announced as Yash’s much-awaited 19thfilm a year and a half after the release of KGF: Chapter 2. There’d been intense speculation about which filmmaker he would choose to collaborate with and Geetu Mohandas’ name surprised Yash fans, who were initially not on board the idea. Yash’s involvement as producer and actor, however, reassured them that he would not disappoint his fans. And now that it’s been revealed that he has writing credits too, that’s been cemented further.
