SonyLIV has unveiled its slate for the next three months, and while Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par is ready to rule in April, the months of May and June belong to OTT shows. Among them, May is when Undekhi is back with its new season i.e. Undekhi season 4! The makers have played a major tease, while also revealing that Harsh Chhaya’s Papaji, who was imprisoned in season 3, is back. Considering the tension, something wild will definitely go down in the coming season!

Through the announcement, the makers have revealed a major detail. Harsh Chhaya’s Papaji begins the clip by stating, “Papaji is back!” This means that he is about to haunt the remaining Atwals, most of all Surya Sharma’s Rinku Atwal, who was on the verge of killing Papaji the last time around. Of course, there’s going to be some violence and bloodshed. But the makers play a huge tease about whether it will be the two in an intense rivalry or that they would team up once again to eliminate anybody coming their way. So far though, this also goes the epic The Umbrella Academy meme way – one where the two cross paths and reflect each other’s actions (only this time, there’s a gun in their hand and it is fired).

Barun Sobti, who made his debut in the series in Undekhi season 3, also returns for the fourth season. His entry is exactly in the same manner – with a pistol in his hand. He orates the dialogue, “Haar bardaasht nahi hoti mujhse.” With this, Undekhi season 4 promises to be the biggest release from SonyLIV (OTTplay Premium) in the month of May.

Why are Papaji and Rinku Atwal not on good terms?

Undekhi season 3 had unveiled that Papaji was the reason why Rinku Atwal is an orphan. In fact, Papaji is not even Rinku’s real father, and he was just emotionally abused by a stranger who did not want to get his hands dirty. Rinku, loyal to Papaji, did all the killing for the man, only to find out the two were not even related by blood. Finally doing something right, he handed Papaji over to the cops. However, now Papaji is back and both seek revenge for how things unfolded.
