Since the film was hailed as his best work and an unbeatable box office hit this news comes as a disappointment for the actor's fans and action movie lovers. According to Unni, the sequel has been put on hold since the project is receiving too much negativity. Additionally, he has pledged to work on a project that is larger and better than Marco.
There is a hint of a sequel at the end of the action drama, which debuted in theatres in December 2024. In an earlier conversation with the media, Unni disclosed that the team intends to release two more films after Marco, which is intended to be a trilogy.
