When Vaani Kapoor was trying to enter Bollywood, the actress lost out on a project because she wasn't 'white enough.' She confirmed the same with News18 in an interview and said, "I haven’t been told directly, but information reaches via other people. A filmmaker had once said that I wasn’t fair enough to land a role. He said that I wasn’t ‘milky white," the actress recalled.
