The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Vala, unveiled its first look poster today (July 25). It has revealed the lead characters as well as anticipated theatrical release date through this latest poster.

The poster shows a glimpse into the characters played by Lukman Avaran, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Raveena Ravi and Sheethal Joseph. It comes with the film's tagline- 'Story of a Bangle', hinting at the hilarious nature of its plot that is based on chaos over a jewellery.

The cast and crew of the movie shared the first poster with the tagline- 'Some stories come full circle. And some never break free from it' on social media. Vala is helmed by Muhashin, who made his directorial debut with Basil Joseph-starrer Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham, which is streaming on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium. Vijayaraghavan and Shanthi Krishna are also playing important parts in Vala, which is bankrolled by Fairbay Films.

The movie is slated to hit the big screen in September. Wayfarer Films is bringing the film to theatres. Further updates including a trailer are expected in the coming days. Vineeth Sreenivasan's Karam is also scheduled to premiere in theatres in September. No other Malayalam films have been announced its release date in the same month so far.

Lukman Avaran and Dhyan Sreenivasan's films on OTT

Lukman played a lead role in Khalid Rahman's Alappuzha Gymkhana which can be watched on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium. This sports drama also starred Naslen, Sandeep Pradeep and Ganapathi. His other movie, Kundannoorile Kulsitha Lahala, began streaming on Saina Play recently. The young actor's Perumani will also be accessible on the same platform soon. Dhyan is among the busiest actors of Malayalam with a number of films this year. His recent movies, Prince and Family as well as Detective Ujjwalan, started streaming online recently. His upcoming lineup of flicks include Dileep's Bha Bha Ba and Joy Full Enjoy.
