Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya gearing up to howl its way onto screens; here’s when the trailer date will be out

The upcoming film also stars Kriti Sanon as the female lead.

Varun Dhawan is gearing up for one of his first stints in the horror genre, with Bhediya. The upcoming horror comedy has got fans of the star excited for quite a while now, who have been anxiously awaiting for new glimpses from the same. In some good news for fans, the makers have unveiled the release date for Bhediya’s trailer.

Dhawan took to his Instagram stories to make the announcement. Sharing a poster of the film, the story featured the words ‘Get ready to howl. Trailer date announcement coming tomorrow at 11 AM.’ The trailer date of the film will be unveiled on September 30, Friday.

The film is produced under the banner of Dinesh Vijan’s production banner, Maddock Films. The producers also shared the announcement on their official social media handles, and captioned the post “Ready. Set. Howl! #Bhediya trailer date announcement video out tomorrow at 11 AM”.

In addition to Varun Dhawan, Bhediya also features Kriti Sanon as the female lead, in their latest major onscreen collaboration together after 2015’s Dilwale. Maddock Films also shared photographs of the cast and crew at a recent promotional event of the film, which featured a preview of the trailer announcement video. Meanwhile, Bhediya is a part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror comedy universe, which include films such as Stree(2018) and Roohi (2021). The upcoming film marks the third instalment in Vijan’s horror comedy universe. In addition to Sanon and Dhawan, the upcoming film will also feature Deepak Dobriyal and Abhishek Banerjee in pivotal roles. Bhediya is directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhatt.

Meanwhile, Dhawan was last seen in JugJugg Jeeyo. His upcoming releases also include the Nitesh Tiwari directorial Bawaal, backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, and also starring Janhvi Kapoor.
