Bollywood movies this year showed us a tonne of new on-screen couples. Among many others, Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan in Jugjugg Jeeyo rekindled the adoration of their fans for them. Varun has made the decision to end this year on a high note as 2022 is almost at an end.

In order to accomplish the same, the Student Of The Year actor posted a quirky video for his followers on his official Instagram account. A shirtless Varun can be seen dancing to Jugjugg Jeeyo's theme song in the brief clip. It's a sight for sore eyes to see him dancing merrily to the tune. He surely made our day with this video. Sharing the video, he wrote, "Goodbye to 2022 on a good note #jugjuggjeeyo sab log."

Jugjugg Jeeyo, a family film, was released on June 24 this year for the uninitiated. The film received mixed reviews by the critica and audience. Along with Kiara and Varun, Anil Kapoor was paired up with Neetu Kapoor. Prajakta Koli, an internet sensation also made her film debut in the Raj Mehta-directed film.

Post Jugjugg Jeeyo, Varun was seen in his recently released film, Bhediya. After collaborating with the 2015 rom-com Dilwale, Varun and Kriti worked together again on the creature-comedy drama. Producer Dinesh Vijan and filmmaker Amar Kaushik, who earlier collaborated on the 2018 box office hit Stree, joined forces for the movie.

Meanwhile, in terms of Varun Dhawan's work schedule for 2023, he has a compelling slate. The next time we'll see VD is in the Nitesh Tiwari film Bawaal. Janhvi Kapoor will portray the female lead in this film. This will be the first time we will see the duo coming together on screen. On the other hand, Citadel will see Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as its leads, according to a recent announcement from Amazon Prime Video. Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK will be the project's directors for the Russo Brothers.
