Superstar Venkatesh delivered the biggest hit of his career with Sankranthiki Vastunnam, now streaming on OTTplay Premium. Since the film's release early in 2025, Venkatesh has not shot for any of his own films. He only did a small cameo in Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankar Vara Prasad Garu.

At OTTplay, we already revealed that Venkatesh has locked his next film with star director Trivikram Srinivas. The shooting of the film kicked off a few days ago in Hyderabad on a specially erected set in Banjara Hills. Ahead of Venkatesh’s birthday on December 13, 2025, the makers revealed the title of the film.

The family drama has now been titled Aadarsha Kutumbam: House No. 47 — AK47. The title and first look promise a family entertainer with an action element. Venkatesh is seen in a simple yet classy avatar in the first-look poster. The shooting is currently underway at the Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad.

Rukmini Vasanth of Kantara 2 fame is playing the female lead in this film, which is being mounted on a massive scale by Radhakrishna, known for backing Trivikram's biggest hits to date.

Venkatesh will be seen in a hilarious avatar in this film, and not many know that it was Venkatesh who first encouraged Trivikram as a writer in the past. Fans have long wondered when Venkatesh would team up with Trivikram, and although it never happened until now, things have finally fallen into place as the two giants of Telugu cinema collaborate for Aadarsha Kutumbam: House No. 47.

The makers also revealed through the poster that the film will hit the screens in summer 2026. On the other hand, once Trivikram is done with this film, he will direct a period drama with Jr NTR as the main lead. More details about this project will be revealed soon.
