Vidaamuyarchi online ticket bookings begin, Ajith Kumar’s film is frontrunner this week

Vidaamuyarchi, the much-expected Tamil film starring actor Ajith Kumar in the lead role, is all set to release in theatres on February 6. With the film coming after much delays, the advance bookings have begun from Sunday (February 2) onwards at several cities.

Vidaamuyarchi online bookings begin: Ajith Kumar’s film sees soaring ticket sales

After much delay, Vidaamuyarchi is finally coming to theatres. The Magizh Thirumeni directorial is releasing on February 6, and the advance bookings have already begun. Online ticketing systems like BookMyShow, and District have opened theatres for bookings for the Ajith Kumar film.

At the time of writing, Vidaamuyarchi recorded about 4.15K ticket sale on BookMyShow. While most theatres in Tamil Nadu have only opened the matinee shows so far, in the coming days, more theatres will open for bookings in the coming days. In all likeliness, Tamil Nadu might not have early morning shows, like its neighbouring states of Karnataka and Kerala. However, shows will begin from 9 am onwards, after the state government gives approval. Vidaamuyarchi will be enjoying a solo release in Tamil Nadu, and will be the major frontrunner in all theatres, given the massive fanbase Ajith Kumar enjoys across the state.

Vidaamuyarchi plot, runtime, and OTT release

With a runtime of two hours and 34 minutes, the action thriller film stars Ajith Kumar and Trisha in the lead roles. The film revolves around a couple who take a road trip and the events that take place after the wife goes missing under mysterious circumstances.

Produced by Lyca Productions banner, Vidaamuyarchi also stars actors Arjun, Regina Cassandra, Nikhil Nair, and others. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the music. Netflix has bagged the post-theatrical digital rights of Vidaamuyarchi. After its theatrical run, the film will be made available on the streaming platform.
