Vidaamuyarchi out on OTT: Ajith Kumar’s latest action thriller is now out for streaming

Vidaamuyarchi, the recently releases Tamil film starring actor Ajith Kumar in the lead role, is now available for streaming on Netflix. The action thriller film is available in multiple regional languages to stream.

2025 saw the release of actor Ajith Kumar’s Vidaamuyarchi. The action thriller film is directed by filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni and features Trisha as the female lead. After its theatrical run, the film is now available on Netflix to stream. The film is available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi to stream.

Vidaamuyarchi is adapted from Hollywood film Breakdown. It revolves around a couple who are on the verge of filing for a divorce. They take one last road trip together but things go haywire after their car suffers from a breakdown and the wife takes the life of a friendly couple they met on road. After the wife goes missing, the husband has to find her.

The film also stars actors Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, Aarav, Nikil Nair, and others in prominent roles.

Vidaamuyarchi is bankrolled by Lyca Productions and has music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film opened to positive reviews, but did not fare well at the box office. Om Prakash is the cinematographer of the film.

Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly release date

After Vidaamuyarchi, Ajith Kumar will be seen in upcoming Tamil flick Good Bad Ugly. The film is written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran and also has Trisha as the female lead.

The film is slated for release on April 10, clashing with Dhanush’s film Idly Kadai. Good Bad Ugly also stars Prasanna, Arjun Das and others.

The makers of Good Bad Ugly released the teaser of the film recently, which was received with a good reception. It presented Ajith Kumar as a notorious personality called Red Dragon, as the teaser was loaded with many references to the actor’s previous roles and films. GV Prakash is scoring the music.
