Vidyut Jammwal makes his production debut with his upcoming film, IB-17. The actor felt that he had to take special care of his crew. For the same reason, he asked every person on set how did they feel post shoot.

During the Delhi press conference for IB-71, Vidyut said that he would often wonder about how can he help his crew grow. That is when he realized that his mother would text him to ask if he had food. Thus, Vidyut ensured that every person on set got quality/quantity food.

“We started enjoying the process more everyday with that. It was fun to come on sets and be around your own people,” he said, adding, “We asked people everyday how did they feel after shooting for IB-71.”

IB-71 is directed by 2017 war film Ghazi’s director Sankalp Reddy. The movie is produced by Vidyut along with Abbas Sayyed, Aditya Shastri, Aditya Chowksey and Shiv Chanana. It is Vidyut’s first production under his banner, Action Hero Films.

The film talks about the mission that helped India win the 1971 war. The war is the Indo-Pakistan war, after which Bangladesh was formed.

“Many do not know this but China was also heavily involved in the war. They were planning an attack against India. So we were fighting two nations,” Vidyut quipped.

The movie also stars Anupam Kher and Vishal Jethwa in pivotal roles. It is slated to release in theatres on May 12.
