Ajith. Now, the actor has taken to his social media handle to wish the actor on completing 30 years in the film industry. The director wrote that Ajith is an example and self confidence, compassion, humility and hard work.

The Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal director wrote on his handle, "#ThanNambikkai self confidence, passion , compassion,humility,humbleness, perseverance,hard work & dedication has made this Man rule the hearts of people for 30 years now! To more years of sheer joy of jus watchin U😍 We pray & wish! ThankU Dear #AjithSir ❤️ #3decadesofajithism #ak #30yearsofajithism (sic)."

Interestingly, Vignesh Shivan and Ajith are all set to team up for a film. The film is tentatively being called AK62. Vignesh, whose last release was Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal, is said to be currently working on the final script of the film. The shoot is expected to begin by the end of this year. AK62 will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions.

The production house had earlier released a statement that read, " We proudly announce our next film with Mr Ajith Kumar "AK 62" to be directed by Mr. Vignesh Shivan, music composed by Mr. Anirudh, produced by Mr. Subaskaran. This projecr will be headed by Mr G.K.M. Tamil Kumaran.

The shooting of the film will commence by the end of this year and release by mid next year. The other cast and crew details will be announced soon. Lyca is very proud and happy to have joined hands with Mr Ajith Kumar. As a team, Lyca is committed to carry out a sincere and fruitful collaboration to provide quality films to the audiences and fans."

Vignesh Shivan, in the meantime, has been receiving a lot of appreciation for conceptualising and directing a show on Tamil heritage at the Chess Olympiad inauguration recently held in Chennai.
