Kiss, the Tamil film starring Kavin and Preethi Asrani, is all set to release this week. And the makers had unveiled a sweet surprise ahead of it. Actor Vijay Sethupathi will be bringing his voice to the story, serving as a narrator.

The romantic drama Kiss is one among this week’s Tamil releases. The film features actors Kavin and Preethi Asrani in the lead roles, and the trailer of the film was recently released. Kiss is set to hit big screens on September 19.

Kiss will have actor Vijay Sethupathi lend his voice, the makers announced a few days before the release. Even as Vijay Sethupathi might not (or might probably) appear onscreen, the actor will serve as the narrator of the story. “The #KISS unfolds in the voice of our Makkal Selvan. A Heartfelt Kiss to our dearest @VijaySethuOffl sir for bringing his voice to the story,” the makers announced.

What do we know about Kiss?

The film is written and directed by choreographer Sathish Krishnan in his directorial debut. Kavin, who was last seen in Blood Beggar last year, will be pairing up with Preethi Asrani for the first time in Kiss. Also featuring VTV Ganesh, RJ Vijay, Kalyan Master, Rao Ramesh, Prabhu and others, Kiss will release on September 19 in theatres.

Not much about the plot of Kiss has been revealed by the makers, but from the teaser and trailer, it looks like Kavin plays a youngster who visibly frowns upon the idea of romance and the titular activity of public display of affection.

The film’s technical crew includes camera cranked by cinematographer Harish Kannan with editing handled by RC Pranav. It was first announced that Anirudh Ravichander will be composing for Kiss. However, he was later replaced by Jen Martin.
