Vijay Varma on shooting with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat in Darjeeling: We're having a blast

The actor is happy to be away from the heat wave.

Vijay Varma is an actor to keep an eye on since he has been continually on the move, shooting the intriguing projects on his schedule. The talented actor is now working in Darjeeling for his upcoming project with Sujoy Ghosh, which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat, and is pleased to be out of the country's heat wave.

Vijay talks about his experience shooting in the hill station. He told IANS that Darjeeling is a calm escape in a gorgeous, beautiful setting with an old world charm. Kareena, Jaideep, and he are having a great time shooting there, and they consider themselves fortunate to be escaping the heat and enjoying the beautiful weather of this city as well as their momos.

Vijay continued, saying that the fog makes it difficult to film or commute on some days, but overall it's providing the right tone and set up for this thriller. Undoubtedly, it's an experience of a lifetime.

The actor recently shared photographs from Darjeeling with mesmerising scenic vistas of the hill station on social media.

Apart from the Sujoy Ghosh film Devotion of Suspect X Vijay Varma's upcoming projects include Darlings with Alia Bhatt, Dahaad with Sonakshi Sinha, and an untitled movie by Sumit Saxena.

Earlier, while talking about Darlings Vijay told the Indian Express that he was pleased Alia approached her for this film. A dark comedy that is quite twisted and said that it's a fantastic opportunity for an actor. As they are working with top-tier talents like Shefali Shah, one must bring their A-game. 

Vijay also said that they also have a passionate director in Jasmeet K Reen, who penned the lyrics and composed the music. It was a pleasure to work on this project. As he awaits the release of the film, the actor is filled with anticipation and nervous excitement.
