Ahimsa Entertainment, which distributed Vijay's Varisu abroad, has now taken the plunge into film production with Aishwarya Rajesh's Soppana Sundari. The film, which is directed by SG Charles, features Aishwarya Rajesh, Lakshmipriya Chandramouli, Redin Kingsley, Deepa, Karunakaran, Sathish, Mime Gopi and Sunil Reddy to name a few. The film is said to be a laugh riot, and a fun mix of comedy and drama. Interestingly, the title of the film, Soppana Sundari, is inspired by a popular scene in the 1989 film, Karagattakaran, which involves a conversation between the leading comedians of the film, Goundamani and Senthil.

The makers shared a note on their production debut along with a new poster from the film. The note read, " We're thrilled to announce that we're making our big debut in production by associating with the film, 'Soppana Sundar' ! This movie, produced by the amazing team at Hamsini Entertainment, is going to be a total blast."

The note also read, " We are thrilled to be working with Hamsini Entertainment, who shares our passion for creating content that connects with people. We've also collaborated with them in the past on the USA release of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' which was a huge success, and currently, Vijay's highest grosser in the region." The film is set to hit screens next month.

Aishwarya Rajesh was last seen in the Tamil remake of Run Baby Run and The Great Indian Kitchen, which opened to positive reviews from the critics and audience. Interestingly, the UK and Europe release of Run Baby Run was handled by Ahimsa Entertainment. Aishwarya Rajesh has a series of films in her kitty, including the long-delayed Idam Porul Yaeval and Dhruva Natchathiram. She is also awaiting the release of Farhana, Mohandas, Theeyavar Kulaigal Nadunga and Manik to name a few. It looks like 2023 is going to be a packed year for the actress.
