Voice of Sathyanathan, starring Malayalam star Dileep, is set to hit theatres soon. Touted to be a political drama with touches of comedy, fans are excited since it brings back the much-loved combination of Dileep and Raffi after Ring Master. They have also worked on hits like Pandippada and Punjabi House.

Now the makers have released a new song from Voice of Sathyanathan, titled O Pardesi. The song shows Dileep and the female lead, Veena Nandakumar, in Mumbai, taking in the sights and sounds of the Maximum City. Veena plays someone who is new to fast-moving city life, as some scenes show her being unfamiliar with shopping malls and restaurants. Along with Dileep and Veena, Johny Antony also features in the song in the attire of a politician. He plays Cleetus, the chairman of a panchayat.

The trailer and teaser for Voice of Sathyanathan were released earlier and garnered a good response. The trailer hints that it is a comedy film, but according to the director, Raffi, the movie also deals with serious issues.

Dileep plays a furniture shop owner in the film, which also features actors like Joju George, Anupam Kher, Jagapathi Babu, and Makarand Deshpande in pivotal roles.

The movie was initially scheduled to hit theatres on July 14, but was later deferred due to the heavy downpour in Kerala. The film is now set to release in theatres on July 28.

Voice of Sathyanathan marks the return of actor Dileep to theatres after 3 years. His previous films, My Santa and Jack & Daniel, didn’t do well at the box office. Keshu Ee Veedinte Nadhan, his last OTT release, also didn't do well.

His upcoming film, Bandra, in which he shares screen space with Tamannaah Bhatia, is in the post-production stage.

Meanwhile, Dileep has announced the sequel to his blockbuster hit CID Moosa.
