Fan art will be a part of the KGF: Chapter 2 marketing campaign

The countdown to the most-anticipated movie of the year, KGF: Chapter 2, has begun. Rocking Star Yash’s film is all set to release on April 14 and the team, led by producers Hombale Films are planning an engaging fan activity as part of the marketing campaign.

Earlier today, the makers announced that they are inviting fan s to take part in the film’s journey, and become an integral part of the upcoming sequel’s publicity and promotion campaign by sharing their art works of the film. KGF: Chapter 2, will be the first film in the country to make fan created art part of their marketing campaign by transforming them into hoardings and digital displays.

Directed by Prashant Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 will release in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Led by Yash, the cast also includes Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Prakash Raj, Vasishta N Simha, Archana Jois, Malavika Avinash, BS Avinash, Ramachandra Raju, Achyuth Kumar, among others. The film has music by Ravi Basrur and cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda. The film is being presented in North-Indian markets by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and AA Films.

Meanwhile, earlier today, it emerged that KGF: Chapter 2 will indeed head into a box-office clash with Vijay’s Beast. Although it had been rumoured for a while, the makers of the Tamil star’s film announced today that they would hit theatres on April 13, a day ahead of KGF: Chapter 2. Since the rumour of a box office clash began floating, social media has been abuzz with KGF fans saying that Beast chose an early release date, as April 14 onward, everything will be about KGF: Chapter 2, Rocky Bhai, and, most importantly, Rocking Star Yash.
