Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR's War 2 advance booking has commenced, and the early numbers are out. The movie, directed by Ayan Mukerji, sees a promising start at the Box Office. The Hindi belt has especially shown promise for early numbers from day 1. Interestingly, while the Hindi belt has the highest numbers, the Telugu version has the lowest advance booking so far.

War 2 has minted Rs. 35.16 lakhs in advance booking, according to Sacnilk. The film earned over Rs. 32 lakhs (Rs. 32,15,647 to be specific) from Hindi collections alone.

War 2 Telugu version slowest despite Jr. NTR's presence

Interestingly, despite Jr. NTR's presence, the Telugu version for the movie witnessed the slowest growth on day 1 till afternoon. The Telugu version was only able to mint Rs. 78,580 by day 1 afternoon. In comparison, the Tamil version also earned Rs. 13,4225.14 before even day 1 came to an end.

War 2 Hindi screens

War 2 is the biggest Hindi release on August 14, and has booked 5000 screens ahead of release, according to a report on Pinkvilla. The source had shared that YRF booked 90 percent of single screens across the country for War 2's screening. With it, the film looks at minting most business from the North Indian market.

War 2, presented by YRF under its Spy Universe, clashes at the Box Office with Rajinikanth's Coolie. The movie also features Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. Given the star power from both Hindi as well as South Indian film industry in both the movies, it would be interesting to see which pan-Indian film ultimately wins the Box Office war.
