Hrithik Roshan-Jr. NTR's War 2, which began as a grand Hindi film on an extended weekend release, might not have generated the kind of buzz it hoped to, but the movie continues to leave clues. We have now come across an easter egg from the film which links it to Pathaan. This happens after Sunny Deol appears in a cameo in the movie to introduce the world of Alia Bhatt-Sharvari's Alpha.

Hrithik Roshan is seen taking a reference from Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan in his latest film, War 2. The movie has a dialogue which we heard back in Pathaan. It is about the art of kintsugi.

What is the dialogue - Pathaan vs War 2

Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan is seen talking about kintsugi to his superior Nandini (played by Dimple Kapadia). He asks her for the meaning, and she responds, "Agar koi keemti cheez toot jaaye toh Japanese usse pighle hue sone se jodte hai. Uski khoobsurati aur mazbooti zyaada nikhar jaati hai aur woh pehle se zyaada keemti maana jaata hai."

Similarly, Hrithik Roshan's Kabir is seen talking to Anil Kapoor's Vikrant Kaul about kintsugi on call. This time, Kabir interestingly starts off the dialogue with, "Mere ek dost ne bataaya tha," hinting at Pathaan collaboration. Here, as soon as Vikrant asks, "Kuch toota hai?," the camera pans to Kiara Advani's Kavya Luthra. Kabir says, "Mere haathon se bhi kuch toota tha sir. Main jodne jaa raha hoon."

Pathaan-War 3 collaboration?

The scene could be a hint at the world of Pathaan and War 3 collaboration. Interestingly, back in Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and Salman Khan's Tiger had hinted at a character close to both of them. However, they had shunned the idea of calling this person for external help. It now appears that Hrithik Roshan's Kabir might be the character they spoke of.

War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR released in theatres on August 14. The movie, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is expected to release on Netflix around Diwali 2025.
