As per the latest update, the action drama managed only ₹10 crore net on day three in Telugu as per the tracking website Sachnilk. Fans of NTR are divided; some have liked his performance, while others are unhappy with the way his character was showcased. A major section of the audience felt that Junior NTR was no match for Hrithik Roshan’s aura and personality in the film.

Released alongside Coolie, the box office clash is intense. In terms of occupancy, Coolie is slightly better, but in collections, War 2 has held steady, thanks to Sunday’s advantage. However, once weekdays begin, the dip is expected to be sharper, as seen in current ticket sales trends.
