Watch: Salman Khan sings Lag Ja Gale as tribute to late Lata Mangeshkar

Salman Khan on February 11 paid homage to the late vocalist Lata Mangeshkar by sharing a clip of him singing 'Lag Ja Gale' from the 1964 film Wo Kaun Thi?

In the caption of his post, Khan wrote, "Never has been, never will be any1 like u Lataji (sic)."

The song, composed by Madan Mohan Kohli and written by Raja Mehdi Ali Khan, was picturised on Sadhana.

Khan had also taken to Twitter to share a photo of him and Mangeshkar at an awards show. He, like many from the Indian entertainment fraternity, mourned the legendary singer's passing on social media.

Mangeshkar passed away at the age of 92 in Mumbai on February 6. She was hospitalised on January 8 after testing positive for COVID-19. Her last rites ceremony took place in Shivaji Park, where she was cremated with full state honours.
